Lindsay kept fans guessing if she was pregnant last week after she tweeted a snap of her with a fake baby bump, taken from her movie, Labor Pains.
To add even more confusion, the US star captioned the pic: "Lindsay Lohan Labour Pains trailer - I am pregnant!!"
Now her dad, Michael Lohan, has confessed to the MailOnline that the 29-year-old actress made the shock admission by text which read: "Daddy, I'm pregnant."

However the expectant granddad wasn't thrilled about the news, saying: "It's troubling. It's troubling that she is pregnant."
He also had some stern words for her recently ex-fiancé – and presumably the father of the unborn baby – Egor Tarabasov saying that he needs to sort himself out.

She publicly blasted him for going out and partying with fashion designer Dasha Pashevkina.
A video then emerged of a volatile argument the pair had with Lindsay alleging that the 23-year-old Russian playboy strangled her.
Luckily, Lindsay has escaped from her relationship drama and is on board a luxury yacht in Sardinia.
However she's received backlash for smoking on the yacht while supposedly pregnant.
Daily Star Online have contacted Lindsay's reps for comment.
