Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan 'safe' as Fifty Shades filming takes place near Nice



THE Fifty Shades of Grey sequel is currently being filmed in the French Riviera but it is believed filming may stop due to the terror attacks in Nice last night.

Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan are among those filming scenes near the French city.
Following the attacks, which left 84 people dead and many more injured, producer Danda Brunetti confirmed the film's cast and crew were safe.
Taking to social media, he informed fans: "As far as I know everyone from out cast and crew is safe. Thanks for everyone's concern."
He later added: "Back safe in my hotel room. Thanks for everyone's concern and messages."

Shortly after, he posted on Facebook: "From production: 'Production has confirmed that everyone working on location in the south of France is okay. Everyone has been accounted for and is safe and sound.
"Thanks for everyone's messages and concerns. Another sad day for France and the world."
Meanwhile, E.L. James who penned the book the film is based on shared: "Just heard about the horrendous events in Nice. Appalling. Thoughts are with the families of the dead and injured."

As the news broke that a terrorist firing a weapon drove into a crowd celebrating Bastille Day in France, 
Simon Cowell lead the tributes as he tweeted: "Just heard the terrible news from Nice. I am shocked. My thoughts and prayers to all affected."
Meanwhile Gary Lineker shared: "Another horrific night in France. Harrowing scenes in Nice. So terribly sad!"
Cyndi Lauper added: "So sad for the people of Nice, France."
