The 34-year-old - who presents the Channel 4 property show - admitted that bosses were left uncertain and feared the programme would not survive Brexit because the plummeting pound might have an affect on potential buyers.
Laura explained: “It’s the exchange rate more than anything. I showed someone a house and in 15 minutes it went up by £27,000, because the rate changed.
“But we’ve gone through times where the exchange rate is volatile. Even with the drop, it has been at that price previously. We’ve just been in the luxurious position where it’s been higher. It’s just annoying.
“Currently, it doesn’t affect us. You will continue to have all the benefits you currently have until we leave the EU. Then, we don’t know what will change."

She went on to say: “We don’t just film A Place In The Sun in Europe. We film in the Caribbean, America, and it’s never stopped people buying in those countries, even though they’re not part of the EU.
“I’ve been filming with people this week and it hasn’t even come up. The people that are coming on genuinely want to buy, so it doesn’t bother them," Laura added, according to the Mirror.
Laura's comments come after the managing director of A Place in the Sun, Andy Bridge, previously blogged about the "uncertainty" caused by the EU referendum results.
He posted on the show's website: “Those who are looking to purchase a holiday home overseas, after an initial hiatus, are likely to see that owning a property in the EU will only be marginally more complex than it is currently."
